A woman and her husband surprised her parents by covering their entire home in Christmas lights – just like National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
Nellie and Bryce Jurgy decided to give her parents the ultimate Christmas gift and litter their Sacramento house in fairy lights.
Taking inspiration from the families favourite festive film, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, the couple flew out to the California to surprise Nellie’s mother and father.

The couple, who are expecting a baby together only let Nellie’s sister-in-law Nicola, who was picking them up from the airport, in on their secret.
They said that they were going to ‘a million stores and buy as many lights as possible’ before Nellie’s parents returned from work.
Bryce and Nellie bought so many lights that one store even ran out of the type that they needed.

While being filmed Youtuber Bryce, said: ‘If you’re new to our channel we love to do adventures and crazy things where people are like – of course the Jurgys would do that.’
Back at the parents house the couple can be seen putting up thousands of fairy lights with friends as Bryce shouts ‘I love Christmas!’.
Nellie appeared to be adding some final touches to the surprise including a sign that reads ‘are you serious Clark?’ which is an anecdote from the film.

The group sneakily tell Nellie’s mother and father that their beloved horses have escaped so that they hurried home from work.
When her parents arrived home they are initially concerned about the escapee horses until they notice their daughter Nellie.
Her mum can be heard saying ‘I’m so glad you’re here’.
The spectacular light display is revealed by Bryce and the rest of the team appear to turn on the lights.
The parents looked completely shocked and clearly love their festive surprise.
