The Dallas Cowboys are psyching themselves up for their trip to Buffalo this weekend by staring into the eyes of their enemies.

With a crucial outing against the Bills to come on Sunday night, the Cowboys have opted to stick photos of several defensive players from the opposition on their pads in practice.

In a photo posted by team reporter Nick Harris, pictures of Bills duo Jordan Poyer and Tyrel Dodson can be seen on Dallas’ practice equipment three days out from the game at Bills Stadium.

There also appears to be photos of other players on the pads that sit further behind on the machine.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy and offensive coach Brian Schottenheimer are clearly prepared to do whatever’s necessary to come away with the victory in Buffalo on Sunday.

They head into the game on the back of a strong win, having toppled fellow playoff hopefuls the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 last Sunday.

And if their trip to Buffalo ends in a win or a tie, Dallas will clinch both its third straight playoff berth and its sixth consecutive victory.

However, McCarthy expects to be without defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins when they take on the Bills this weekend.

‘Johnathan will be hard-pressed to go this week,’ the Cowboys head coach told reporters on Wednesday. ‘He will not work today, that’s all I’ve got on him right now.’

The Bills recorded a statement victory of their own last weekend with a 20-17 decision over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Their victory over the Super Bowl champions was marred by controversy, nevertheless, when Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes lost his cool after a late offside call cost them a potential game-winning touchdown.

Mahomes has since apologized for his on-field meltdown, which included an awkward post-game exchange with Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
