Cristiano Ronaldo scored a late winner with a penalty as Al-Nassr won 2-1 against Al-Shabab in a dramatic conclusion to the game.
Al-Nassr had taken the lead in the 69th minute through former Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.
An own goal from Al-Nassr’s Ali Al-Hassan in the 90th minute saw Al-Shabab equalise.
There was much more drama to come, however, with Ronaldo proceeding to restore Al-Nassr’s lead from the penalty spot.
Mohamed Simakan of Al-Nassr was then sent off for stamping on Nader Al-Sharari inside the penalty area.

Ronaldo’s side survived a scare, with Al-Shabab’s Nader Al-Sharari missing a penalty late on
Abderrazzaq Hamed-Allah stepped up to take it but failed to find the net, with Al-Nassr securing all three points.
Al-Nassr are currently in second place in the Saudi Pro League, four points behind leaders Al-Hilal.

Ronaldo has scored six goals in seven league appearances so far this season, while he has provided two assists.
The 39-year-old will hope to inspire Al-Nassr to another victory when they face Esteghlal away in the AFC Champions League on Tuesday.
