A Pennsylvania school crossing guard has been charged with selling marijuana on the job.

As WNEP points out, a large number of students in the Selinsgrove Area School District walk to school because there is no bus service provided by the district.

‘It’s actually kind of discouraging, disgusting. You start to have a little bit of faith in the world, and then something like this happens and it throws you back a few,’ parent Kelsey Young told WNEP.

Selinsgrove Area Superintendent Chad Cohrs told WNEP that Miller, who has worked as a crossing guard since 2012 on an hourly wage, has been suspended.

He said all employees have to pass a background check before being hired.

Miller is in the Snyder County Jail on a list of charges that include delivery of a controlled substance.
