Crown Prince Hussein has dubbed his new wife the ‘light of his life’ as he thanked the public for their outpouring of love on his wedding day.
The future King of Jordan, 28, married high-flying architect Rajwa Al Saif, 29, in an intimate ceremony at Zahran Palace in Amman yesterday afternoon.
Following this short service, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania hosted a lavish reception at the Al Husseiniya Palace, which was attended by more than 1,700 guests – including the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Earlier today, the newlywed shared a gushing post with his 4.3m followers – thanking them for their support on his big day.
The Prince posted a picture of him and Rajwa standing in the grounds of Zahran Palace and gazing lovingly at one another.

While Hussein looked dapper in his military uniform, the bride was a vision in a custom-made Ellie Saab gown.
The groom gushed: ‘God has blessed me with Rajwa, the light of my life and my lifelong companion. May our marriage bring us both peace and warmth. I pray that God continues to bless us.
Once again, my deepest thanks to everyone who celebrated with us from our beloved Jordan, as well as our family and loved ones from around the world.
‘I could not be more thankful to God for the countless blessings He has granted me today, and to Rajwa for everything she is to me.’
Speaking to Vogue Arabia earlier this year, Crown Prince Hussein revealed they were introduced by a friend who also attended the exclusive King’s Academy in Jordan.
He said: ‘I met Rajwa through an old friend from school. I consider myself lucky because it is not every day you meet someone like Rajwa.’
What’s more, Hussein’s mother Queen Rania, 52, also posted a collection of images of her photogenic family throughout the lavish celebrations.
‘Congratulations, Hussein and Rajwa! A beautiful evening celebrating with friends and family,’ she captioned the pictures.
