This is the hilarious moment a hungry customer jumped over a Domino’s counter to dish out pizza to a ravenous crowd after waiting an hour for his order.

Jermaine Thompson took matters into his own hands when staff at the fast food chain became overwhelmed with orders after ‘the Beast from the East had created a massive demand for hot pizza’.

The 31-year-old, branded a ‘hero’ by diners, said the branch in Birmingham was unable to cope when hordes of people turned up to collect their food.

He said people were being giving just part of their delivery and that he waited an hour before taking drastic action.

Mr Thompson was praised by customers for saving the day and giving them their orders which were sat on the shelf in front of the staff. 

The 31-year-old said: ‘Everyone had placed their orders but were only getting parts of it.

Mr Thompson said: 'I went over the counter and started calling out different names. People were saying "that's my pizza"

'I'm not sure what the problem was - they were just so confused. I had been waiting there an hour for a vegetarian pizza and wings'

West Midlands police confirmed they were called on Wednesday evening to reports a man had climbed over the counter at the Birmingham Central store. 

No arrests were made.
