A cyclist who rode through multiple red lights faced a tirade of abuse after appearing to purposely taunt a furious motorist on a Perth city street.
Dash cam footage shared to the Drivers for Registration of Cyclists Facebook group shows the lycra-clad male zooming through a set of red traffic lights on Adelaide Terrace in the CBD.
The driver behind then became infuriated and yelled out the window at the rider, who appeared amused by the situation and continued with his audacious behaviour.

‘So you’re allowed to run red lights are ya?,’ the motorist screeched, before calling the cyclist ‘arrogant’ in an expletive rant.
As the rider overtook on the driver’s-side of the car, the driver made it clear they were not happy about how close they came to the door.
‘One metre mate, one f***ing metre,’ they said, understandably referring to the rule introduced last year requiring drivers to leave a one meter gap between themselves and bike riders.
The rule however does not apply to cyclists riding too close to cars.

In the response to the car speeding up alongside him, the rider laughs before yelling out, ‘you’re on camera’, only for the driver to then reveal, ‘so are you’.
While the car was stopped at a red light heading towards the city centre, the cyclist whips past the driver and yelled, ‘dash cam woo hoo’, before jumping onto the pedestrian footpath.
Even more enraged, the driver continued yelling abuse at the cyclist, who then rode diagonally across the path of the angry driver.
