Cynthia Nixon and wife urge New Yorkers to vote for Joe Biden

Former New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon and her wife Christine Marinoni braved the rain on Sunday afternoon to urge Manhattanites to vote for Joe Biden ahead of Tuesday’s presidential election.

The 54-year-old native New Yorker handed out flyers to passersby outside The Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Greenwich Village on behalf of the Working Families Party.

Cynthia – who’s only an Oscar away from elite EGOT status – made sure to protect herself and others from the coronavirus pandemic by wearing a mask.

Nixon was ‘so excited’ to join New York Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou and NYC Council Member Brad Lander to encourage American citizens to exercise their right on the last day of early voting.

‘What could be more fun?’ the Ratched actress – who boasts 1.1M social media followers – tweeted on Sunday.

‘[I] got to hang with adorable puppies, progressive heroes @bradlander & @yuhline – AND talk to people about voting Biden/Harris on the @WorkingFamilies line!’
