One California dad decided to have a little fun with his four-year-old daughter after she helped him clean up the kitchen.
The girl’s hands had wrinkled from the water, so the dad decided to convince her that it was proof she was getting older.
‘I don’t think they’re going away,’ the father tells the girl as she holds up her pruney hands so he can take a look.
‘Why?!’ she exclaims, worriedly looking at her fingers.

‘I think you’re just going to get older and older,’ the father says, keeping the tone of his voice serious.
‘The more pruney, the older you’re going to get probably.’
‘No!’ the girl screams as she throws her newly-wrinkled hands to her side, clearly afraid.
‘You already look like you’re seven years old now!’ the dad says, continuing the joke.
‘I’m, I’m four,’ the girl sweetly replies as she looks up at her father with big, worried eyes.
‘I think you’re just going to get older and older,’ the father says, keeping the tone of his voice serious as his daughter looks at him in fear
‘No, you’re seven now,’ the father tries to convince her. ‘Your hands are pruney, like a seven year old.’
‘No, four!’ the girl shoots back, trying not to believe it.
‘No, you’re seven,’ the father says again.
‘Four!’ the girl shouts, hoping to change her fate.
‘I’m sorry baby, your hands say otherwise,’ the father tells her.
‘You already look like you’re seven years old now!’ the dad says, continuing the joke. ‘I’m, I’m four,’ the girl continues to assert as her dad tries to convince her otherwise
‘Okay you can be four again,’ he tells his daughter to make her smile again. ‘I’m four!’ the girl screams as she throws up her hands in excitement. ‘Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!’
The girl’s face drops and, as she looks at him with despair, the father can’t take it anymore.
‘Okay you can be four again,’ he tells his daughter as she gazes sadly into the distance. ‘Go ahead, you’re four again!’
‘Yay!’ the girl screams, looking at her hands again.
‘You’re four!’ the father yells, clearly delighted at his daughter’s joy.
‘I’m four!’ the girl screams as she throws up her hands in excitement. ‘Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!’
