Daisy May Cooper bundled up to keep herself warm in the chilly temperatures on Thursday as she filmed her comedy thriller Am I Being Unreasonable in Somerset.

The This Country star, 35 braced herself against the cold in a green camouflage coat with a pink fleece inside layer as she stood under an umbrella in-between takes at a church near Wells. 

The upcoming BBC comedy thriller is co-written by the BAFTA Award winning actress and Land Girls starlet Seline Hizli, 33.

Daisy was spotted walked around on set in the warm coat which she atop of her character’s costume which comprised of split-hem flared trousers and heeled grey boots. 

She added a pair of sunglasses to her head, a thick chain necklace and a glamorous make-up look. 

Daisy looked in high spirits on set as she joined the crew to film the churchyard scenes.

It has been said that real-life friends of Daisy’s have snatched the lead roles alongside other performers in the show.

The series has been described as: ‘A twisted comedy thriller about two mums, marital angst, maternal paranoia and a dead cat.

‘Female friendship at its naughtiest and most intoxicating. That is until everything unravels.’

The Gloucestershire-born star is most prominently known for portraying Kerry Mucklowe in BBC Three series This Country, which she co-created and co-wrote with brother Charlie Cooper.  

Daisy’s career has also seen her play a policewoman in The Wrong Mans and star in comedy drama film The Personal History of David Copperfield.

She also juggles her time being a mother to two young children, Pip, three, and 15-month-old Jack. 

Daisy split from their father and her long-term partner Will Weston in July 2021 after almost two years of marriage.
