Daisy Ridley cuts a casual figure as she films scenes for The Marsh King’s Daughter with her young co-star in Canada before taking a break
She’s been on the set of The Marsh King’s Daughter in Canada since June.
And it was another day hard at work for leading lady Daisy Ridley, 29, as she acted out scenes for the movie with a younger co-star on Thursday.
The British actress, who famously played Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, cut a casual figure in a grey turtleneck jumper and light brown jeans as she stepped out of a blue Jeep.

She could be seen greeting a little girl who handed over a large box to Daisy as they took on their roles.
The star could later be seen relaxing behind the scenes in a portable chair having changed the upper half of her outfit.
She wore a cream shirt with an orange floral pattern over the top of a white top.

Daisy looked happy to be taking some time to relax and watch the world go by.
She has been filming The Marsh King’s Daughter alongside cast Garrett Hedlund, Ben Mendelsohn, Brooklynn Prince, Caren Pistorius, and Gil Birmingham.
She plays the role of Helena, a woman living a seemingly ordinary life, who’s hiding the dark secret that her father is actually the infamous Marsh King.

It turns out the Marsh King is the man who kept Helena and her mother captive in the wilderness for years.
After spending her entire life trying to avoid her past, Helena is forced to face her demons when her father escapes from prison, according to Deadline.
Directed by Neil Burger, who’s best known for helming such films as The Illusionist (2006), Limitless (2011), and Divergent (2014), the screenplay by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith is based on a novel of the same name by Karen Dionne.
Daisy’s most recent role was the lead in the dystopian action film, Chaos Walking, which premiered in the U.S in early March. It also starred Tom Holland, Mads Mikkelsen, Demián Bichir, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Jonas and David Oyelowo.
She is best known for her role of Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Daisy’s resume also includes Murder On The Orient Express (2017) and Ophelia (2018).
