Dakota Johnson received the Razzie Award for Worst Actress in 2024 for her role in box office flop Madame Web.

And now the 35-year-old actress is opening up about the embarrassing career moment, sharing which A-list star showed her support.

Johnson — who is the nepo baby of Melanie Griffith — revealed on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast that Sandra Bullock reached out to her about the disaster.

Bullock received the same Worst Actress dishonor in 2010 for her role in All About Steve. In a show of good humor, she attended the event to collect the award.

‘[She] sent me a voice note being like, “I heard you are in the Razzie club and we should have brunch, we should have a monthly brunch,”‘ Dakota spilled on Tuesday’s episode of Amy’s show.

The Lost Daughter star also recalled how she reacted to Sandra’s voice note.

‘I freaked out getting this message from her because she’s so iconic to me, as like a movie star. I was like, “Oh my God.” I was just crazy,’ she said.

Last year Dakota was said to have infuriated her Madame Web bosses by making multiple public digs at the Marvel movie amid its poor performance.

She played the titular superhero in the $80million production, which was ripped to shreds by critics and viewers alike following its Valentine’s Day 2024 release.

About a month into its theatrical premiere, it had only grossed $40 million domestically.

It had one of the lowest superhero debuts in recent history, taking in a modest $15.1 million in its opening weekend.

Elsewhere in the Good Hang appearance, the silver screen siren chatted about the franchise that launched her to fame — Fifty Shades of Grey.

She told Amy she is ‘always psyched’ to shoot the movies’ steamy moments.

When asked how she hypes herself up for portraying the act on camera, she answered: ‘I don’t have to. I’m, like, always psyched up for sex.’

She noted that lessons she learned from her mother have spilled into her entertainment career.

‘I want to feel good in my body,’ she said. ‘If I’m showing my body… my mom raised to me to be really, really proud of my body and love my body, so I’ve always felt so grateful for that, especially in my work, because I can use it and it feels real.’

Johnson added, ‘She also talked to me about sex and how precious and important [it is].

‘So I guess in my work… it’s something that I feel brave with and that I feel when it’s used the right way in a story, it’s important.’
