Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers in weather delay as thunderstorms disrupt Sunday Night Football

Sunday Night Football was delayed indefinitely when thunderstorms passed through Pittsburgh for the Steelers game against Dallas Cowboys.

Originally scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET, the game was delayed ‘until further notice’ with storms in the area.

A message on screens at Acrisure Stadium told fans they were allowed to stay in their seats as the players waited in the locker room for an update on the start time.

The city itself was under a severe thunderstorm watch warning in Pennsylvania. Heavy rain was falling on the stadium as well.

The showdown will see Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (2-2) face Justin Fields and his team, who are 3-1 ahead of their Week 5 showdown.
