Dami Im announces her return to music after a seven year hiatus as she gears up to release new album
She’s hasn’t released a studio album for seven years.
But Dami Im has announced she’s making a comeback with her new record My Reality.
The singer, 33, will drop the album on October 29, and she’s written every song on the record.

Dami told Yahoo Lifestyle on Monday, that this is her ‘dream album’.
‘I had a moment when I was finishing the tracks like, oh my gosh, this is the album that I’ve been wanting to make for so long but it just never happened. It’s quite an important moment for me,’ she added.
‘Every song I tried to tell a different story from something I was thinking about or an experience that I’ve had, and that’s what I’ve always wanted to do.’

It comes after Dami was eliminated during Sunday’s episode of Celebrity MasterChef Australia.
The singer failed to impress the judges with her sweet potato basque cheesecake.
After announcing comedian Dilruk Jayasinha was safe, judge Melissa Leong revealed Dami would be going home.

‘Today just wasn’t your day, while the flavours of your cheesecake were great, it just wasn’t the right dish for the challenge,’ Melissa said.
‘I’m really sorry that’s why you’re going home,’ she explained.
During the 60-minute challenge, Dami didn’t have enough time to cook and cool her cake due to the time limit.
