Dance Monkey singer Tones and I reveals the surprising truth about her upcoming second studio album: ‘It’s stressing me out to no end’

Tones and I has dished some surprising details about her upcoming second studio album.

The singer, best known for her global smash hit Dance Monkey, is gearing up to release her new album after unveiling her latest single Dreaming last week.

But she has admitted that although the album is ready to go, she is yet to come up with a name for her latest collection of music.

The star, whose real name is Toni Watson, confessed it has been ‘stressing’ her that she still hasn’t titled her second studio album, despite it being finished.

She told the Daily Telegraph: ‘This is the craziest thing, my album is done but it hasn’t got a name, that is stressing me to no end.’

Tones and I, who is married to Jimmy Bedford, then gave fans an insight about what to expect from the album, saying she has penned a track about love for the first time.

‘It is the first album where I’ve written a song about love, not by choice, it just never wants to come out of me,’ she explained.

‘There’s a few songs in there about my relationship, nostalgic songs about my past and friendships and things, no pessimistic songs like the last album. And I always go back to my childhood, I can’t help it.’

A release date for Tones and I’s hotly-anticipated second album is yet to be confirmed by the Australian superstar.

As well as gearing up to release new music, Tones and I is also supporting Pink on her Australian tour this month.

Pink is known for pulling out all the stops for her epic concerts and has been seen flying over the crowds upside down in very daring stunts while singing.

Tones and I will be supporting Pink on her Summer Carnival Australian tour and will perform across Sydney, Queensland, Adelaide and Perth.
