Daniel Johns launches extraordinary spray at GQ Australia following the release of his latest studio album FutureNever: ‘It’s like I don’t exist’

Daniel Johns has launched an extraordinary attack on men’s lifestyle magazine GQ Australia.

The 43-year-old former Silverchair frontman used his social media to slam the publication for ignoring him after the release of his latest solo album, FutureNever, which came out in April.

Johns, together with his bandmates from Silverchair, graced the cover of GQ Australia in 2007 as ‘Men of the Year’, at the height of the band’s best-selling fame.

Elsewhere, John claimed a new sauna blanket product was receiving rave reviews from GQ – and that he was receiving unwanted  promotions for the item.

He posted a picture of the ad for the product in his Instagram story and added a scathing caption.

‘Literally reviewing f**king sauna blankets and targeting me with sponsored posts to really rub it in,’ he messaged.
