Ex-Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson and his actress wife Zoe Ventoura secretly tied the knot in 2015.

On the heels of their two-year wedding anniversary, the talented glamour couple admitted to the Daily Telegraph they would like to have a child sooner rather than later.

The hunky star, 37,  said he was ‘absolutely’ keen for children, saying it will be the next big step in their lives.

‘I did take this detour when I was about to go to LA in 2006,’ he said, before continuing, ‘I ended up spending another five years back in Australia, so part of me does wonder what if.’

Earlier this month, Daniel appeared to confirm romance rumours between friend Delta Goodrem and Hugh Sheridan.

Probed about their relationship on radio show Hit 105’s Stav, Abby and Matt, the 37-year-old tried to keep mum, but remarked: ‘They look like they’re having a lovely time.’

‘They look like they’re having a lovely time and that’s all I’m going to say from afar, from a casual observer,’ he said, after the radio hosts said that he was ‘in the know.’

When first asked about the romance rumours, Dan tried to brush it off.

‘That’s news to me as well, I don’t know, I’ve missed all that,’ he added with a laugh.
