Danielle Armstrong rekindles romance with Daniel Spiller

She had confirmed her split from ex-beau Daniel Spiller in August. 

But reports have revealed Danielle Armstrong, 29, has rekindled her romance with the Herne Bay footballer, with the duo hoping to keep their reunion ‘under wraps’. 

The former TOWIE star was said to be left ‘heartbroken’ following their break up and is now ‘so happy’ that the duo are giving their relationship another go. 

Sources have claimed to The Sun that the former couple are both currently in Madrid, on separate getaways, but are ‘working through things’. 

An insider told the publication: ‘Dani was heartbroken when she split with Dan, absolutely in bits, so it’s no surprise to anyone that she’s back with him.

‘Dani can’t help herself, she’s so happy they are giving it another go. She really loves him.’

Confirmation they are now dating again comes after the duo had sparked reunion rumours, after being spotted shopping together at the beginning of September.  

They are both yet to address their reunion, that has occurred just weeks after the duo first called it quits. 

‘Me and Daniel have decided our relationship has come to an end: The reality star, who quit TOWIE for the 35-year-old Herne Bay football player at the beginning of their relationship last December, confirmed the split news on Facebook last month 

‘A big part of it [her leaving] was because I’d met Dan. I thought, if I’m ever going to be able to make a go of any relationship, I’m going to have to take myself out of this situation’, she said after leaving TOWIE

The blonde bombshell had confirmed news of her split from Daniel on Facebook, explaining that the it had been a joint decision and that she ‘was doing fine’.

Announcing the split to her fitness group, the dedicated reality star wrote: ‘Morning guys, before it starts circulating in the press like I’ve seen this morning I just wanted to let you know that me and Daniel have decided our relationship has come to an end but will remain good friends. 

‘He has helped me create this amazing group and I will always be grateful for that. I know lots of you are loyal fans of mine so I just wanted to let you know that I’m absolutely fine and excited for the next chapter in my life’. 

Danielle’s spokesperson confirmed the news to MailOnline. 

The news will no doubt come as a shock to fans as the beauty admitted that the retired footballer, who she began dating at the beginning of last year, played a ‘big part’ in her decision to walk away from ‘TOWIE’.

Another factor was that ex-boyfriend James ‘Lockie’ Lock was still involved in the show and she felt it would’ve been awkward. 

She said previously: ‘A big part of it [her leaving] was because I’d met Dan. I thought, if I’m ever going to be able to make a go of any relationship, I’m going to have to take myself out of this situation. I really do wish James all the best and I hope he meets someone who’s perfect for him. If I saw him I’d probably say hi but I’m not going to give him any support or check how he’s getting on in the new series [of the ITVBe show].’ 

And, at the time, she said she wouldn’t return unless it’s a cameo appearance at her pals Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet’s engagement party. She explained: ‘I don’t think I’d ever go back as a character. It was 100 per cent the right decision to leave. I would only go back if Tommy and Georgia got engaged and had a party or one of the girls had a baby shower.’

In June she appeared to take a swipe at her ex-boyfriend James Lock, who she split from last year. 

The former TOWIE star seemed to take a dig at her ex, claiming her new beau was better in bed and describing her sex life with Daniel as ‘amazing’. 

Danielle and Daniel first went public with their romance in December and since then, the pair appeared inseparable. 

Speaking about their relationship just two months ago, Danielle boasted about their bedroom antics in a recent interview with The Sun.

She had also credited her beau for helping her to whip herself into shape, after introducing her to nutrition brand Herbalife, with Danielle revealing she had lost a stone in just 12 weeks at the beginning of the year.

Clearly not concerned with shedding the pounds, Danielle stood to a side as she stretched out the jeans.

However, Danielle didn’t seem to think it was a big deal, as she revealed: ‘I just need them taking in a little bit.’
