Danny Dyer was very much the doting dad as he posed with his rarely-seen daughter.

The EastEnders star, 47, cut a dapper figure in a grey suit and black shirt as took to the red carpet at the Rivals gala screening in London.

The soap star looked worlds away from his famous hard-man characters as he smiled with his daughter Sunnie-Jo.

The 17-year-old daughter of the actor looked elegant in a black maxi dress with spaghetti straps and cut outs at the waist.

She added a pair of studded strappy heels and a small Louis Vuitton handbag to her look and swept her dark brown hair back in a slick-back ponytail.

Sunnie-Joe is Danny and his wife Joanne Mas’s second child and the pair also share a son, Artie.

The actor’s daughter is very close with her older sister Dani and the pair regularly go away on holiday together.

In April 2023 Sunnie said she wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and revealed her plans to start acting according to The Sun.

The teenager confessed that she hopes to start acting and even has dreams of moving to LA during a Q&A on Instagram.

And while Sunnie has dreams of taking to the stage and screen, she was spotted on the red carpet supporting Danny in his latest show.

The saucy drama, based on the bestselling novel, focuses on the tense rivalry between Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell) and Lord Tony Baddingham (David Tennant).

And, during a series of parties and luncheons in Lord Baddingham’s country pile, steamy affairs and star-crossed yearnings are explored.

Danny Dyer is set to play an electronics millionaire Freddie Jones who is far from welcomed in to the high-society circles of the characters.

Critics have all agreed that the ‘vivacious’ new show from Disney+ will leave viewers blushing, cackling and rewinding.

Carol Midgley wrote in The Times that the hilarious new show ‘is one of the most kitsch, vivacious, knowingly corny’ series to have aired in recent months.

The reviewer added: ‘This is a big pink Anglo bubblegum of a production and a splash of retro-escapism. Lord knows we all need a bit of that right now.’

Danny has been praised for his role in the hotly anticipated show.

Digital Spy’s Rebecca Cook described the new drama as a ‘soap shagathon’ and praised the ensemble cast for their over-the-top characters.

Particular attention was given to Danny Dyer’s character Freddie who ‘forms the emotional core of the show’, with a slow-burn romance that ends in a delightful al fresco romp.

Rebecca added that Danny is world’s away from his EastEnders hard man act and described his and Katherine Parkinson’s story line as the high point of the series.
