During a Saturday performance in Weldon, North Carolina, Gary ‘Lil G’ Jenkins was shocked when a fan bombarded him while he was singing ‘Freak Me.’ 

Jenkins, the former lead for 90’s R&B group Silk, was putting on quite the show for his seasoned fans when the hilarious moment ensued. 

In the brief clip, the Tennessee native belts out the raunchy lyrics as the middle-aged crowd sways back and forth.

Jenkins is in full show-off mode – doing one armed push-ups as he goes on vocal runs – but he doesn’t seem to notice the company making its way toward him.

But the singer quickly recovers from his shock and screams for security to get the woman off the stage.

As security escorts the woman off stage, she backs up but continues dancing while keeping her eyes on the prize. 

Jenkins can be heard making his way back on stage, soon after, picking up in the song where he left off. 

The video quickly went viral on Facebook but Jenkins was a good sport about the moment, sharing it on his own social media accounts. 

‘Well, that’s show bizzness!!!!! Lol,’ he said on Monday morning. 

Silk made its debut in 1992 as a quintet and were discovered by R&B sensation Keith Sweat.

The group – that has sold more than 5million records worldwide – is currently touring and working on their seventh album as a group.
