A darts fan took a couple of sore ones as he slid down a London Underground escalator.

Freddie Andrews, 22, from Tonbridge in Kent, had sunk 10 pints at the PDC World Championships at Alexandra Palace in north London.

The Asda worker, who was with his friends dressed in full football kits, is seen sliding down the metal chute in a video filmed by his friend.

As he gathers pace, he smashes his private parts into one of the emergency stop button, as his friends cry with laughter.

Mr Andrews said at the time he didn’t feel any pain because of how much he had had to drink.

He told The Sun Online: ‘At first it was really funny, but then when my friends saw me go head first, they went ‘oh s**t’.

‘It’s all fun and games until someone goes head first on the escalator.

‘I had drunk enough not to feel the pain. I woke up this morning (Thursday) and couldn’t move, but I’m fine now.’

The video was shared with pals on social media, with one person commenting: ‘I’ve watched this so many times now and I can’t breathe.’

Another added: ‘His face of regret afterwards.’
