Tottenham host first leg of Champions League semi-final on April 30 as Liverpool visit Barcelona on May 1
- Tottenham will host Ajax on April 30 before return leg in Amsterdam on May 8
- Liverpool visit Barcelona on May 1 before the deciding tie at Anfield on May 7
- Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium will host the final on June 1
UEFA have confirmed the Champions League semi-final dates, with Tottenham first hosting Ajax at their new Tottenham Hotspur stadium on April 30 before Liverpool visit Barcelona on May 1.
Spurs beat Manchester City on away goals in a classic in their quarter-final after a 4-4 aggregate draw, while Ajax saw off the challenge of Juventus to win 3-2 over both ties.
The return fixture will be played at Ajax’s Johan Cruyff Arena on May 8.

In the other semi-final, last year’s runners-up Liverpool head to the Nou Camp to play Barcelona in the first leg on May 1.
The return leg will be held at Anfield six days later.
Liverpool overcame Porto 6-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals, while Barcelona saw off the challenge of Manchester United with a 4-0 win over both legs.
Liverpool’s Premier League tie at Newcastle will now be moved, having originally been scheduled for Sunday May 5 but will likely be played on the following Saturday at 7.45pm.
The final will be played at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium in the Spanish capital on June 1.
