With their thick, glossy hair and glowing complexions, it is of little surprise that these stunning online daters are inundated with offers from potential partners.
What is perhaps more surprising is that they are not in their 20s or 30s – but are decidedly middle-aged.
The youthful-looking daters are among the most popular profiles on elite dating website BeautifulPeople.com, which prides itself on rejecting ‘ugly’ applicants and only admits the very best looking singletons.
The site requires potential members to supply recent photos and a brief profile, then existing members vote them either ‘in’ or ‘out’ over a 48-hour period. Only one in 10 are successful.
Greg Hodge, managing director of the site, said: ‘We have always welcomed members of all ages, but when we launched in 2002 it seemed most applicants trying out online dating were young.
‘Now, even your gran will know she can join a dating site and find romance if she wants to. And if she’s hot, then she’s very welcome to try and join ours.’
Among the successful applicants are wine charity volunteer Daisy, from Yorkshire, entrepreneur Mayumi, from Tokyo, American lawyer Gregory Silva. But can you guess how old they are?
