Davante Adams reveals surprise living arrangements after huge New York Jets trade

After getting traded to the New York Jets from the Las Vegas Raiders, Davante Adams’ current living arrangement was revealed by one of his teammates.

On Tuesday, Adams’ career took a sharp turn when his dramatic trade saga in Sin City ended with him getting shipped to East Rutherford.

Speaking to the media after practice, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed that Adams is temporarily living with him as he gets settled on the east coast.

‘He’s staying with me for the short term,’ Rodgers revealed in a press conference. ‘It’s been a strange 24 hours but been really fun to see my friend.’

On Tuesday morning, Rodgers surprised the Pat McAfee Show when Adams made a cameo during his appearance. They played for eight seasons together in Green Bay where they paired up for 7,517 yards and 68 touchdowns.

Adams looked for greener pastures in Las Vegas in 2022 before his public fallout with the team early this season.

The receiver initially denied rumors of him wanting out of Vegas. However, his eventual exit was paraded by several signs of tension between him and the organization.

On October 1, Adam Schefter reported that the Raiders would ‘consider trading WR Davante Adams for a package that would include a second-round pick and additional compensation.’

Eight days later, Raiders coach Antonio Pierce claimed that Adams was ‘still a Raider’ and would be ready to suit up in their colors after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Nonetheless, Adams’ acquisition was completed the morning after the Jets’ narrow 23-20 loss to the Bills at home. On Wednesday, Adams was at the practice facility with his new team.

We went right into some of the signals and he was about 95 percent,’ Rodgers said. ‘He knows, kind of, the original, to the second iteration, to the third. His knowledge of the game is pretty extensive.’

While still listed as questionable, Adams seems adamant to suit up and play against the Patriots on Sunday.

‘I’ll be able to roll,’ Adams said in a press conference. ‘I’m feeling good right now. Was running around today. We had a walk-through, jog-through practice today but it was good.’
