David Beckham has a playful dig at close friend Guy Ritchie by showing off his cooking skills – after spending the night in director’s £50,000 barbeque tent

David Beckham enjoyed some light-hearted banter at the expense of close friend Guy Ritchie on Monday as he teased him about his cooking.

The former Manchester United and England footballer, 48, took to social media to show off his skills in the kitchen and appeared to playfully rib the film director and pub owner by accusing him of being envious.

In the snaps, David could be seen cooking up a storm as he baked two poussins and before showing his followers the ‘magic’ by frying off some whelks with beer.

Tagging Guy, 55, as well as the director’s Wild Kitchen company, he captioned the post:  ‘A little jealous I can feel it.’ 

David’s dish was served on a platter in an outdoor setting, complete with a side of chestnut mushrooms and a pint of beer.

Earlier this year, David and his wife Victoria spent the night in one of Guy’s £50,000 BBQ tents in what he called an ‘unbelievable’ experience.

The ‘double tent’ apparently can host up to 20 guests, however David’s evening appeared to be a more intimate affair as he gave fans a look at what he was cooking.

Sharing a snap of his fish in the grill alongside a hearty portion of vegetables, David revealed that the cooking experience was ‘unbelievable’.

David also shared pictures of the outside of the cooker and claimed it was ‘by far the best fish I’ve ever eaten.’ 

Clearly impressed by the set-up, the father of four said it was a ‘thing of beauty’, and also said ‘it doesn’t get any prettier’.

Meanwhile, former Spice Girl Victoria also shared her own set of glamorous Instagram posts on Monday. 

The pop star-turned-fashion designer was excited to tell fans that one of her ‘personal favourites’ from her VB Beauty range was finally back in stock. 

She said: ‘I have just told you how excited I am that those of you who wanted eyewear pecan shade, it has been out of stock for quite some time.
