David Warner’s daughter Ivy shares a cute good luck message for her dad ahead of his cricket match
Earlier this month, David Warner bid an emotional farewell to his family as he head to Dubai to play in the Indian Premier League.
And his six-year-old daughter Ivy took to social media on Wednesday to pass along a very special message to her cricket star father.
‘Hi dad! Good luck tonight, I hope you win,’ said the adorable girl in a video posted to mum Candice Warner’s account.

‘Go Sunrisers!’ she added, referring to the team of which Warner is captain.
The lovely message comes after the batsman, 34, shared a series of sweet family pictures from their time in lockdown together in Sydney, and expressed how much he will miss them all.
He also shared a special tribute to his former Ironwoman star wife Candice, 36, saying he’s ‘blessed to have her by his side’.

‘I’m going to miss you all soo much. It’s been such a great time at home with the family, and now it’s back to work,’ David captioned his Instagram post.
‘I must admit homeschooling was not my greatest strength but being a dad, and I was pretty good.’
‘High marks for mum for being extremely patient with us all, and I don’t know how you do it.’

In one image, he and Candice can be seen cosying up for a selfie, and posing with their daughters Ivy Mae, six, and Indi Rae, four.
He also shared some sweet pictures of their youngest daughter, Isla Rose, two.
Candice also penned a sweet tribute to David this week, writing: ‘It’s off to work he goes. Bye for now daddy. We love you and are always so proud. We can’t wait to watch you play cricket again and to cheer you on.’

The Ashes is set to kick off in December.
In May, David reunited with his family after returning home from covid-ravaged India via the Maldives.
The pair married in April 2015 on the NSW South Coast at the Terrara House Estate.
