A man is set to be sentenced for having sex with a two dogs at his home and stealing women’s underwear from Byron Bay locals.

Dean Anthony Sellenthin, 43, who remains behind bars, appeared via video link before Tweed Heads Local Court on Wednesday.

He pleaded guilty to bestiality charges, which involved a ‘dark short haired canine’ and a Golden Retriever which he had sex with 19 times at his home in the small town of Bangalow, according to court documents.

Sellenthin also pleaded guilty to producing and possessing child abuse material, aggravated break and enter, aggravated indecent assault and theft.

Additional charges included procuring child abuse material, stalking or intimidation, entering a dwelling with intent and failing to comply with his reporting conditions, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.

The theft charges related to women’s and children’s underwear and swimwear.

The matter was adjourned to Lismore District Court where a date will be set for sentencing on July 29.
