Declan Donnelly’s pregnant wife Ali Astall displays baby bump in chic gown at Royal Ascot

She’s been excitedly preparing for the birth of her baby with her husband Declan Donnelly, with the bundle of joy’s September arrival date swiftly approaching.

And Ali Astall was the picture of radiance when she stepped out on Wednesday morning, wearing a pink patterned dress as she attended the Royal Ascot with her TV presenter husband.

The blonde beauty turned heads as she arrived at Berkshire’s Ascot Racecourse in her flattering frock of choice, which she teamed with an eye-catching black feathered fascinator.

Her summery pink dress featured black floral-themed patterning throughout, which complemented her headgear and strappy towering heels.

Toting a black clutch bag as she mingled with well-heeled guests, Ali added a sparkly touch to her ensemble with the addition of a diamond crucifix and delicate studs.

With her golden locks swept back into a sleek chignon, the mother-two-be highlighted her natural beauty while a soft palette of makeup.

After years of working as a double act, he was forced to present the last series of Britain’s Got Talent’s live shows solo.

And after a hectic few months, Declan Donnelly was seen taking it easy as he enjoyed a day out in the London sunshine on Friday.

The TV personality, 41, cut a casual figure for his solo outing while his pregnant wife, Ali Astall dressed her burgeoning baby bump in simple white t-shirt as she stepped out in Richmond on Saturday.

Ali, who is expecting her first child with Dec in September, covered her pregnancy curves in a khaki jacket, which she paired with tight black jeans.

She paired the look with black Gucci suede loafers and toted a oversized handbag from the Italian designer.

His sighting comes after Simon Cowell  confirmed that Ant McPartlin will return for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent, with his support.

The veteran TV judge has said he ‘wants’ the embattled presenter to come back and present with Dec after this week’s live final and semis went ahead without Ant for the first time in the show’s 11-year history.

Dec was left as a one-man act this year after his co-host stepped down from his presenting commitments when he was charged with drink-driving in April following a three car crash.

Simon, 58 has vowed to put psychiatrists in place to support him, after admitting that he didn’t appreciate the pressure he was under before the rehab stint.

Simon told The Sun: ‘It’s a wake-up call. It’s as simple as that. Maybe the pressure was more than I realised. I will support Ant when he comes back.

Simon went on to say that he will make sure there are ‘psychiatrists and things’ in place when Ant returns.

Simon added: ‘He’s taken a step back because his health is way more important than a TV show. We want him back. I’m almost certain he’ll be back next year. And we want him back.’

Dec has been presenting Britain’s Got Talent alone for the two weeks and he has won tremendous praise from TV audiences, as well as Simon.

Simon went on: ‘Dec has been unbelievable. I have tremendous respect for him. He’s been a revelation.’

Ant stepped down from his presenting commitments when he was charged with drink-driving in April following a three car crash.

He was fined a record £86,000 and banned from the road for one year and eight months after pleading guilty to drink-driving.

Ant seemed determined to conquer his drink demons when he returned to rehab in April.

When the presenter was signed off work, a representative told MailOnline it was unclear how long he would be off work.

‘He does need the rest and to be left alone, and given the time to recover. No-one knows how long Ant will be in treatment for, or how long he will be off work.

‘He’ll be off for as long as it takes him to get better. Work is not even being discussed with him. The only priority is him getting better.’

Last summer, Ant was admitted to rehab for for an addiction to painkillers following a botched knee operation.

He also missed the live finale of ITV show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in Florida last month.

Taking over the microphone on Sunday, head judge Simon told Dec: ‘I just want to say, to you Dec, you have done an outstanding job this week. Seriously, thank you.’

Simon’s sweet praise comes after Britain’s Got Talent fans demanded that Dec won the series after he pulled out all the stops during the finale with a VERY energetic opening.

The presenter opened the show with all the finalists as they put on a lively performance for viewers and the judging panel made up of Simon, David, Amanda and Alesha.

And despite trying to find Britain’s most talented act, Dec showed off his own talents as he danced with a top hat and even did a headstand.
