Deebo Samuel has been ruled out of the remainder of the San Francisco 49ers game against the Packers with a shoulder injury.
Wide receiver Samuel was filmed coming out of the 49ers locker room at halftime without his pads on.
It is a major loss for San Francisco and potentially huge given they have advanced over the Packers tonight.
Coach Kyle Shanahan had no update to offer in his post-game media conference after the narrow 24-21 win over Green Bay.
The 49ers have struggled to replace him in times gone by when he is injured and the team held a one-point lead at halftime when he was ruled out of the game at 7-6.
Deebo Samuel left the 49ers game against the Packers with a left shoulder injury
Samuel appeared to get hurt on the first drive of the game for the 49ers when he was tackled after a 9-yard gain. He was initially checked for a head injury but was able to return.
But he left the game soon after that with a left shoulder injury. He was out of uniform at the start of the second half.
Samuel also injured his shoulder early in a Week 6 loss at Cleveland and missed the next two games – both losses.
Samuel gained 1,117 yards from scrimmage with 12 TDs in the regular season. He had two catches for 24 yards on Saturday.
