Colorado Buffaloes head football coach Deion Sanders’ son and safety Shilo Sanders was taken to the hospital with an undisclosed injury following the team’s blowout loss to the Oregon Ducks.

‘I can’t say I didn’t play hard, I’m peeing blood right now,’ Shilo told YouTube outlet Well Off Media on Saturday night.

After being asked if he was ok, Shilo said: ‘Nah, I made a tackle and I landed on my kidney or something bro, so I gotta go to the ER and get checked.’

Deion would eventually go on to tell reporters that his son is ‘doing better.’

‘We went to the hospital right after we landed. He’s doing much better. We’re praying that he heals and he’s playing this weekend,’ said Sanders. ‘He’s a valuable part of our secondary and our team defensively.’

‘(Shilo’s) one of the voices on the defense and he plays with a certain physicality that we desire and we want and he’s given me daily updates trust me, and I’m praying that he can play as a father as well as a coach.’

Shilo had six tackles in the 42-6 beatdown Colorado received at the hands of Oregon and is the second player in two weeks that the Buffaloes have had hospitalized in two games.

During the Buffaloes game two weekends ago against Colorado State, two-way superstar Travis Hunter was sent to the hospital after a dirty hit resulted in him sustaining a lacerated liver.

Deion recently revealed that Hunter texted him and stated that he would not take no for answer when it came to returning the field in Colorado’s upcoming game against the No. 8 USC Trojans, but the coach still said no as Hunter heals.

Before the game Shilo was also seen trash talking the Ducks on video and saying ‘I’ll beat the f** out of every one of y’all and your coach.’

He was also seen telling Oregon players ‘Why y’all so little? We gonna run through y’all.’
