Deion Sanders’ son Shilo scores on a PICK SIX for Colorado against Colorado State before celebrating with his dad… and taking his seat on the Turnover Throne!

Buffaloes star Shilo Sanders scored on a pick six in Saturday night’s fiery encounter with Colorado State, before embracing his dad and coach Deion on the sideline to celebrate.

Tension between the two Colorado rivals was at an all-time high heading into their latest battle following the very public spat between Deion and coaching counterpart Jay Norvell this week.

Norvell’s swipe at ‘Coach Prime’ for his trademark cap-and-shades attire caused quite the stir, with Sanders responding by handing out sunglasses to his entire team and the panel of ESPN’s First Take – marketing which earned his custom Blenders line $1.2million in sales on Friday. 

Prior to Saturday’s game, both sets of teams had to be separated during the warmups, with Shedeur Sanders – another of Deion’s sons – right in the thick of it as tempers flared between the players.

As for Shilo, he made his own mark on proceedings by scoring on a pick six early on in the first quarter.

Deion shared a hug with his son after his incredible pick six, before Shilo was placed on Colorado’s traditional Turnover Throne. 

The gesture, brought in by Deion as a way to celebrate successful turnovers, has taken Boulder by storm of late and made an appearance once more to mark Shilo’s crucial pick six.

It has been quite the week for the Sanders family following Deion’s well-publicized beef with Norvell.

Speaking on his weekly radio show on Wednesday night, Norvell took an apparent shot at the Buffaloes’ coach.

‘I sat down with ESPN today. I don’t care if they hear it in Boulder. I told them, I took my hat off and I took my glasses off,’ he said on the ‘Coach’s Show.’

His dad Deion has been at the center of controversy this week after rival coach Jay Norvell’s jibe about his trademark cap-and-shades attire

‘I said when I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat off and my glasses off. That’s what my mother taught me.’

Coach Sanders, who also appeared on ‘First Take’, continued to play on the beef between he and Norvell by handing out sunglasses to Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim.

The Boulder crowd erupted as Sanders, incidentally wearing sunglasses, handed out his frames to the on-air crew. Many of the students – as is expected Saturday night – also had shades on in support of Sanders.

Shilo also reacted to Norvell’s comments on the ‘Pat McAfee Show.’

‘Bruh, why do they do this to themselves every week?’ he asked.
