Delta Goodrem dances to Destiny’s Child on Footy Show

She was once cruelly branded an ‘unrhythmic white woman’ by comedian Marlon Wayans.

And Delta Goodrem set out to prove the comedian wrong on Thursday when she busted out a few choice moves with Erin Molan on the NRL Footy Show.

Delta and Erin were joined by female rugby league star Allana Ferguson, with the trio making up a home-grown version of Destiny’s Child’s hit song Bootylicious.

While not in the same league as Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in the choreography stakes, the trio looked to be having a blast as they hoofed their way through the hit song.

But while they were obviously enjoying themselves, their performance looked more like three teenage girls miming at a slumber party than a multi-million selling R n B trio.

Delta wore a skimpy, glittering, sleeveless, pink frock and was matched by Erin and Allanah who wore yellow and blue versions of the dress respectively.

‘Girls, girls girls,’ Kelly said interrupting the song. ‘Delta what are you doing and how could you do this without me?’

‘Now Delta, I hope you showed the girls all the right moves,’ don’t forget this one,’ Kelly added before offering some original Bootylicious moves.

Delta was branded as an ‘unrhythmic white woman’ by US comedian Marlon Wayans in 2014.

The comedian took to Instagram to share a photo of Delta, dancing like no one was watching at a Jay Z and Beyonce show in Pasadena, Los Angeles.

‘Man I got the most UNRHYTHMIC WHITE WOMAN dancing next to me at the jay and bay concert, he captioned the post.

He added: ‘This b**ch dancing to AC/C.

After fans slammed Marlon’s comments as ‘racist’ the comedian hit back on Twitter saying he refused to apologise for the comment.
