Delta Goodrem reveals her fashion regret as she has to be carried to the stage amid record rainfall at BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival

Delta Goodrem experienced fashion regret over the weekend when she arrived at the BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival during record rainfall.

The Australian pop star, 39, was forced to trek across the muddy grounds of the historic Moor Park wearing an all-white jumpsuit designed by Amanda Tasevski.

At one point, to avoid dirtying her pristine ensemble, Delta had to receive a piggyback ride from one of the festival workers in a hilarious video shared to Instagram.

The first clip saw the Born To Try hitmaker sitting in the back of a vehicle as she bemoaned the horrid wet weather she was set to perform in.

Regretting her all-white clothing choice, she said: ‘I’ve worn my white so it’s fine to get wet on stage but prior would be bad, you know?’

The gorgeous piece she wore featured a plunging neckline covered with countless diamantes which Delta paired with a set of crisp white pumps.

In the next clip, the multi ARIA award winner was seen hiking up the legs of her jumpsuit as she gingerly trudged through the mud at the festival.

She could be heard crying out in dismay as she barely avoided several puddles and managed to make it to the stage.

Following her show-stopping performance, Delta was forced to receive a piggyback ride from a festival worker to make it to an interview with BBC Radio 2.

‘He does it all, my radio man. I’m a lucky, lucky artist. Look at my amazing Joe,’ Delta shouted from the back of a burly festival worker.

As she was dropped off at a nearby tent, free of mud, she captioned in the clip that she was the ‘luckiest girl with the best team’.

Delta looked nothing short of sensational as she performed at the BBC Radio 2 in the Park concert in Preston, Lancashire.

The singer took to the stage in a tight-fitting all white jumpsuit as she sang to the audience on Saturday at Moor Park.

The Hearts On The Run songstress looked to be having the time of her life as she belted out her hits to the crowd.

The multi-talented musician also took to the piano at one point before hopping up and down and encouraging the audience to dance along with her.
