Demi Harman announces she’s pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Andrew Brooks

Former Home and Away star Demi Harman has announced she’s pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Andrew Brooks.

The actress, 29, who is now based in the U.S. with her Disney producer husband, shared a picture of herself on Wednesday cradling her baby bump as they posed on a palm tree while holidaying on NSW’s Moreton Island. 

‘2 become 3 in 2023,’ she captioned her post, adding a dog emoji as they also share a pet together. 

She also shared on her Instagram story a picture of herself showing off her bump in a pair of festive pjyamas, which is possibly a throwback picture from a few weeks ago. 

Underneath her post, Demi received some well wishes from former Home and Away cast members including Ada Nicodemou and Georgie Parker. 

Ada wrote: ‘The best news!!! Congratulations.’

‘Oh sweetheart, congratulations to you both,’ Georgie added alongside some love heart emojis. 

Demi and Andrew, who tied the knot in January last year, share an adorable pet pooch named Wallace Brooks together.

The couple married in January last year in an intimate ceremony in Palm Springs. 

‘This moment, this day, this life, is better than I ever could have dreamed! I am so grateful!’ Demi captioned wrote on Instagram at the time. 

Demi announced her engagement to Andrew, who was previously a producer on Modern Family, on Instagram in July 2019.

Andrew proposed to his Aussie wife on the Fourth of July.

She captioned the post with an Independence Day pun, writing: ‘Just said yes, FOUR-ever! #happyfourth #brooksfourlyf.’

The couple debuted their relationship in February 2018.

They began dating after Demi split from her Home and Away co-star Alec Snow, with whom she was in a relationship from 2014 until 2017.

Demi is best known for her role as Sasha Bezmel on Home and Away from 2011 to 2015. She was nominated for Most Popular New Female Talent at the Logies in 2012.
