Demi recently spoke about the moment she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

The TV star has had two surgeries already after doctors found a golf ball sized tumour in her neck and has more treatment coming up in September.  She will find out if she is cancer-free at the end of the year.

‘Even though I’ve got this scar, it’s a small price to pay.

‘Now, I can’t go a day without people messaging me, saying they’ve got their lumps checked because of me, they’re going for an operation because of my story.’

The reality star emotionally recalled father’s final months after being diagnosed with cancer, and how she wishes she’d thanked him more. She explained how her dad’s diagnosis has made her more compassionate to others.
