Demi Lovato misses the mark in rare fashion fumble

From her powerful voice to her killer eye for style, she certainly knows how to stop people in their tracks. 

And Demi Lovato was at it again as she stepped out in a very edgy look in New York on Saturday.

The 25-year-old singer exposed her bra in the very funky look, which was worn off the shoulder.   

As the thick fabric hung heavily in an ill-fitted cut, the Jam The Jam songstress tried to save face by flashing her black sparkly bra.

Demi rocked the corduroy garter belt pants with relentless aplomb.

She recovered nicely though as her makeup was perfectly suited for her gorgeous face with her trademark brunette tresses cascading over her petite shoulders. 

In an interview on The Today Show on Thursday, the singer revealed that she now owns the rehab clinic she was admitted to in 2011, and feels ‘better than ever’ after over five years of sobriety.

Demi said: ‘I just feel better than ever. I actually co-own a treatment center called CAST Centers.

‘I’ve gone from being a patient there to owning it, and now I just feel better than ever.’ 

Host Carson Daly gave her the award for her single Sorry Not Sorry, which had broken the 1,000,000 sales threshold the night before.

The Today Show host joked that Demi would have to perform while holding the cumbersome award, which the songstress tried gamely to do.

In her accompanying interview, the Confident singer spoke about her upcoming documentary, Simply Complicated as a follow-up to her previous film, also on YouTube, called I Am: Demi Lovato.

‘The last documentary, it was about me surviving,’ she says of the film. ‘This documentary is about me thriving.’
