Katie Austin used her mother’s wedding gown the night before she got married to Lane Armstrong at her family’s estate in California on Saturday.
The influencer is the daughter of 67-year-old celebrity fitness instructor Denise Austin.
Austin said that she had on mom’s 1983 white satin and lace wedding dress for their rehearsal dinner the night before the ceremony.
‘I wore my mom’s wedding dress, which I got tailored to be a minidress,’ she revealed.
‘It was so special… and a full-circle moment we won’t ever forget.’

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 30, exchanged vows with the investment management exec at her family’s six-acre estate in La Quinta.
At their wedding, which was a little over a year after they got engaged, the bride also revealed she walked down the aisle to a Taylor Swift song to marry Armstrong.
The influencer told People they decided to hold their four-day wedding celebration at the Austin family estate because the location was ‘special’ to them.
As a couple, they spent a lot of time there together, she explained.
‘I have been coming to La Quinta ever since I was little for every holiday,’ she said.
‘And Lane and I had our second date at this house and spent most of 2020 here, so it’s a special place for us as we built the foundation of our relationship here.’
The estate, which she dubbed ‘a magical piece of property,’ is located next to the La Quinta Resort — where wedding guests stayed, she explained.
‘We really loved the idea of having an “on campus” wedding with no travel once arriving,’ she noted.
She also revealed that she walked down the aisle to Taylor Swift’s You Are in Love.

As for their plans after the wedding, she told the outlet that they would be enjoying an island-hopping honeymoon trip.
The couple will be heading to Cap Juluca in Anguilla before traveling to Eden Roc and Cheval Blanc in St. Barths.
Following their honeymoon, Austin will be heading straight back to work for the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch.
Previously, the couple met on The League dating app in 2020.
After three years of dating, which included quarantining together during the pandemic, they got engaged in April 2023.
