Denise Van Outen entertains racegoers with a DJ set at Newmarket after confirming new romance

Denise Van Outen couldn’t hide her beaming smile on Saturday as she entertained racegoers with a DJ set on Darley July Cup Day at Newmarket Racecourse.

The entertainer showed off her eye for style in an elegant white embroidered dress with frilled sleeves as she took to the DJ decks.  

The 48-year-old appeared to be in her element as she couldn’t wipe the smile off her face during her performance – just days after she went public with new beau Jimmy Barba.

Opting for some sophisticated accessories to complete the look – the TOWIE narrator wore a long pearl necklace and a pair of matching studded earrings.  

Her blonde locks were styled in loose eaves with a centre parting and she opted for a full face of glamorous makeup with a soft pink lip.

Quenching her thirst with a tasty cocktail, the TOWIE narrator kept the sunshine at bay with a pair of black sunglasses as she delighted attendees with her DJ set.

It comes after it was revealed that Denise’s new man Jimmy Barba makes her laugh like no other guy she’s ever met, according to pals. 

Sources have told MailOnline that the property developer, 55, – who previously had a career as a stand-up comic – has arrived at the ‘perfect moment’ for TV presenter Denise. 

The stunner recently moved on from her ex Eddie Boxshall after dumping him eight months ago. 

The insider said: ‘Denise has had a really difficult few months since the split with Eddie. She wanted to give herself time to trust again and that was a tough process to go through after everything that went on when things broke down with Eddie.

‘But then she met Jimmy and it just felt right. He makes her laugh out loud, he’s a very funny, charismatic and outgoing guy and is able to make Denise laugh like she never has before. 

‘He cracks her up and they are very happy together. It’s obviously very early days but it’s very clear that Jimmy is keen on Denise.’

Jimmy has already created a ‘highlights’ page on his Instagram account dedicated to Denise and friends say he’s not phased or bothered by the attention that will come their way.

‘Jimmy has been in and around showbiz for long enough so is a good match for Denise,’ a pal added. 

‘He was in Big Brother in Italy many years ago and almost won the show. When he came out of the house he went on tour of Italy doing nightclub openings and personal appearances. He’s well used to the red carpet life that Denise exists in. Jimmy loves being out and having fun.’

The couple have been dating for a few weeks after being introduced by a mutual friend and went public with their romance at the 12th annual Grand Prix Ball.
