Dennis Rodman’s daughter Trinity goes Instagram official with her NFL star boyfriend – who’s got the same name!

US women’s national team star Trinity Rodman has gone Instagram official with her new boyfriend – who shares more in common with her than just a romantic interest.

The daughter of former NBA big man Dennis Rodman went public with the relationship on Instagram on Wednesday.

Trinity Rodman is dating Trinity Benson – and she christened the relationship ‘Trinity squared’ in the caption of her post.

A number of Rodman’s teammates on the USWNT reacted to the announcement – with Sophia Smith commenting ‘Hard launch’ among others.

Benson also left a comment, saying ‘my treacherous lil’ twin with a hands-in-a-heart emoji.

Rodman has played at the World Cup, while Benson has played for multiple NFL teams

It’s not exactly clear how or when the couple met but they’ve both competed at the highest levels of their respective sports.

Rodman had previously been linked to Chris Kuzemka, a basketball player at Loyola University in Maryland – but that’s clearly not the case anymore.

Rodman is the youngest-ever player drafted into the NWSL and is currently playing as a forward for the Washington Spirit.

She’s also played for the US women’s national team at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

As for Benson, he’s a professional football player who came into the NFL out of East Central University in Oklahoma.

Currently a free agent, Benson has had various stints with the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, and the Cleveland Browns.

Rodman was named to the 23-woman squad that was the first named by new women’s national team boss Emma Hayes.

That roster will need to be cut down to just 18 players by the time that Team USA heads over to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Rodman is widely considered to be safe within this squad, meaning other newcomers might have to be cut after friendlies in Colorado and Minnesota – which take place in a matter of days.
