The manager also reportedly said that Edwards would need to track down the customer to see if the tip was legit.

‘I’m just hurt that they would tell me something like this as a business and as being the owner to tell me that this is the only resolution as to look at if I’m wrong to ask for something I know I deserve,’ Edwards told Fox 13.

‘You’re going to tell me that it’s my fault that I didn’t get the information on a customer when they left and tipped me,’ Edwards said.

‘I don’t know who tipped me,’ she said through tears.

According to Edwards, who has worked at the restaurant over the last three years while putting herself through dental school, said she plans to sue if she doesn’t get her money.

A DailyMail.com request for comment to Denny’s was not immediately returned, but the restaurant did release a statement to Fox 13.

The owner of this particular restaurant also gave a statement claiming that Edwards is spreading misinformation.

He claimed that he was told to cancel the transaction from that bill because they were unable to verify who left the tip.

In case it was an accident, the owner said they canceled it.

It’s unclear how long it will take Denny’s to track down the customer for verification.
