- Passengers watched as the man had ducked under a waiting train at the station

- He lay on the ground for two minutes as the train passed over him
Onlookers were left stunned after they witnessed a man get run over by a heavy goods train only to miraculously emerge totally unscathed.
One shocked passenger captured footage of the astonishing incident at Deoria’s Bankata Railway Station in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
It is believed the man was attempting to cross from one platform another by walking across the tracks – and ducked under a train which was waiting to depart.
The man lies completely flat between the rails to avoid getting squashed by a train
But locals said that while he was crawling under the carriage it started to move and he found himself trapped.
Unable to get out, and terrified he would be squashed, he lay down in the gap between the rails and flattened himself to the ground for two minutes.
The video shows the 38-carriage train hurtling at speed, just inches above the man’s head.
One onlooker said: ‘After the goods train left the platform, bystanders were left shocked as the man simply got up and walked away with no visible injuries.’
