Dancing With The Stars vet Derek Hough announces he will be performing in Las Vegas… after the original run of his show was delayed by COVID-19

He is well known for showing off his dancing skills on various television programs such as Dancing With The Stars and Jennifer Lopez’s World Of Dance.

And on Wednesday, it was announced that Derek Hough would be performing on stage for his fans during a limited engagement show in Las Vegas this coming fall.

The 36-year-old dancer was previously set to perform for his fans last year before his show was delayed due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A press release shared by People noted that the upcoming run of shows, entitled No Limit, would be ‘dance-centric,’ although Hough’s performances would be the focus of the productions.

It was also revealed that the engagement’s set, which will be housed at The Venetian Resort, was custom-built for the dancer’s needs.

Specifically, it was noted that the shows would ‘incorporate all-new production elements, designed specifically for the astounding versatility of The Summit Showroom, and, as always, Derek’s magnetic stage presence.’

The release also offered a bit of information regarding No Limit’s content, and the performer is set to show off his expertise in various disciplines.

‘Fans will journey through a true fusion of dance and music, as Derek explores styles ranging from ballroom and tap to salsa, hip-hop and everything in between,’ it noted. 

Hough also took to his Instagram account on Wednesday morning to express his excitement for the upcoming engagement. 

The dancer wrote a message in a post’s caption that partially read: ‘IT’S HAPPENING!!! Vegas is officially back on!!! Y’all ready for this, cause I cannot wait!!!’ 

The shows are currently set to begin this coming September and will conclude in November.

General tickets for Derek Hough: No Limit will be made available to the public in the coming days.

The show was initially set to make its debut at the Flamingo Las Vegas last June, although it was postponed.

Before the delay was first announced, the performer spoke to People and expressed that he was more than ready to interact with his fans during his shows. 

‘It’s a new adventure. I love performing live. There’s nothing like it. I just love that relationship with the audience,’ he noted.

The Dancing With The Stars alum also noted that he was planning on getting up close and personal with the show’s attendees.

‘I want the whole room to be my stage, to where I’m really in the audience and I’m on their tables. I’m going to bring it, that’s for…sure,’ he said.
