Desperate search for two young sisters who disappeared from a Muswellbrook home

An urgent search is underway for two young girls who vanished from a home in NSW’s Hunter Valley region.

Monique Rowland, 12, and Emily Rowland, 13, were last seen at the property on Skelltar Stock Route in Muswellbrook on Sunday.

Police were notified when the pair were unable to be located, and have since launched an investigation.

Officers and the girls’ family hold concerns about their welfare due to their young age.

Monique is described as being of caucasian appearance and about 150cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Emily is described as being of caucasian appearance and about 140cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.
