Diamond White revealed why she turned down an audition for the HBO’s coming-of-age drama, starring Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi.

When asked if she ever felt pressured to compromise her values for a role, the singer, 26, recalled getting an offer to audition for the hit teen drama, which has sparked controversy over its numerous nude scenes, involving characters who are under 18.

After quickly debating whether to talk about her experience, White declared she didn’t sign an NDA, so she could spill on what held her back from going for the role.

Ultimately, she decided to ‘decline politely’ after she was told ‘nudity might be required’ and that they were looking for a pole dancer.

‘Do I look like I can be on a pole? I can’t lift up my body weight,’ she mused while appearing on MailOnline’s brand-new celeb-centric show The Daily Mail Bag.

In the future, however, she said she may be ‘willing to show’ her breasts when she is ‘little bit older.’

‘I don’t want them to Sydney Sweeney me. They just sexualize that girl so much because she’s got big boobs!’ White explained.

She concluded: ‘Maybe in the future if there was like something, like tasteful, like you know?’

Earlier in her interview, White revealed that the two celebrities she would immediately block if they sent her a direct message are Diddy and Timothée Chalamet.

While explaining why she wouldn’t want to speak to the actor, 29, White confessed that he is her ‘type to a T’ but she has a boyfriend.

White also addressed her previous claim that Billie Eilish’s song, Ocean Eyes, sounds very similar to her track, Firefighter.

Although she never accused Eilish of plagiarism or demanded a writing credit, the singer said she went to a lawyer in New York that the songs did sound ‘really familiar.’

‘Let me just say this one thing about Billie, I don’t know that girl,’ White clarified. ‘I don’t hate that girl, I listened to Ocean Eyes for the first time and I was like “Oh this is cute.” I don’t have beef with Billy.’

White rose to fame on The X Factor in 2012.

She has also branched out to acting with roles in The Bold and the Beautiful, The Lion Guard and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

White has more than 294,000 Instagram followers and is preparing to release her next album, ALLERGIC, on April 30.

Last month, she revealed she was pushing back her album release from April 3 to April 30 due to the challenges of being an independent Black artist.

‘[It’s] hard, especially when you’re basically doing everything yourself. And I wanted to make sure I put my best foot forward,’ she explained to Where Is The Buzz.

She previously released her debut album, Summerland, on August 13, 2021.
