The 47-year-old German-bred actress — who is mom to four-year-old daughter Nova — kept warm as she layered a white hooded sweatshirt under her outer layer.
At one point she stopped to grab a slice of pizza, which she enjoyed on the street immediately.
Her shoulder-length blonde hair spilled out of her New York Yankees baseball cap and she carried a black leather purse.
The mother-of-one rounded out her casual and cozy look with a pair of well-worn cream-colored sneakers.

The previous night Kruger attended one of Madonna’s shows on her Celebration tour.
Afterward, she took to Instagram to share outtakes from the performance with her 1.1 million followers.
She shared a selfie with friend Caroline Blank and also included a warm message of praise for Madonna.
‘People can gossip and criticize all they want, but Madonna is one amazing artist,’ she wrote.
Kruger added, ‘I’m in awe of the show she put on last night, my eyes were full of admiration and she sounded amazing.
‘What a beautiful night, feeling inspired. Thank you @hm for inviting me to witness an icon at work.’
For the night out in the Big Apple, Diane looked sleek in a black mini dress topped by the same coat she wore on Friday for her pizza run.

Kruger shares Nova with her fiancé, Norman Reedus, whom she met in 2015 while they were working on the dramatic feature film Sky.
Before she began dating the The Walking Dead star, she was married to Guillaume Canet from 2001 until 2006.
