Emma Roberts may have played a role in the surprise split between long-time couple Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson, according to a shocking new report.
The Hollywood pair, who have been together since 2007, called off their relationship last month, but little was known what caused their sudden breakup.
But now Christensen’s co’star Roberts may have been a contributing factor, as Bilson allegedly found text messages between the 26-year-old and the actor, 36, according to The Blaze.
Roberts and Christensen recently filmed the upcoming movie ‘Little Italy’ together, which could have sparked an inappropriate relationship.

Roberts and Christensen were spotted on set in June riding around on a scooter as the younger actress smiled as she gripped the father’s leg.
Bilson and Christensen, who have two-year-old daughter Briar Rose together, have been in a relationship on and off for almost 10 years but never married.
When news broke in September of the split, a source told UsWeekly: ‘She’s full-time back in L.A. He’s in Toronto. They’ve been on the outs for a couple of months.’
The insider goes on to say that the couple is ‘completely, officially done.’
The actors met on the set of Jumper in 2007 and got engaged in December 2008.
In August 2010 they quietly called off their engagement but reconciled three months later.
Before the breakup, the O.C. actress was last pictured with her partner in June when she visited him on the Toronto set of his new movie Little Italy, which he was filming with Roberts.

In April the actors quietly sold their sprawling Sherman Oaks home in a private off-market deal for $3.8 million.
The duo was constantly fighting ‘about every day stuff’ according to People.
‘It became exhausting and almost depressing for Rachel,’ a source explained. ‘It got really bad over the summer and they decided to separate.
‘She is living with the baby in L.A. now. She is a great mom and loves it.’
Just last week, it was revealed Bilson had splashed out $3.25 million on a stylish new home in the Pasadena area of Los Angeles.
