They’ve officially been a couple for less than a day but it seems the newest Bachelor couple aren’t wasting any time in taking their relationship to the next level.
In fact, it looks like Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne could be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet in the new year.
When asked on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on Friday how long they thought it would be before their first pregnancy Laura said: ‘But I’m 4½ months pregnant now right?’

Despite the ensuing laughter and the fact the comment was a lighthearted quip, Matty still looked visibly shocked at the ‘revelation.’
‘Why would you do that?!’ he asked as everyone in the radio studio erupted into laughter.
‘Sorry! I’m joking. Jokes!’ Laura said, while chuckling.
Matty and Laura have been doing media rounds this morning, appearing on radio shows to discuss everything from Matty’s relationship with the other contestants to the possibility of him proposing in the finale.

The raven-haired hunk also made a surprise revelation to The Daily Telegraph that he knew Laura was the one on the very first night and subsequently wanted to send the other contestants home.
Matty said ‘I wished I could have’ sent the other contestants home at the beginning except for Laura.
‘Do I wish on night one I could have just said goodbye to the 20 other girls and go Laura’s the one? I wish I could have,’ he said.atty, who enjoyed passionate moments with multiple contestants during the series, said he hadn’t really cared about the need to create a compelling series for people to watch.

‘On the one hand you appreciate there is a TV show being made and you want to be entertaining but at the same time I got what I came for and I don’t care,’ he said.
Matty’s decision surprised nobody except Elise, who was left heartbroken when he revealed he was in love with Laura.
