Didier Deschamps’ France got their Euro 2024 campaign underway with a 1-0 victory over Austria on Monday evening. 

Lead by Kylian Mbappe, Les Bleus triumphed over their Group D rivals thanks to an own-goal from Maximilian Wober in the first-half before controlling the rest of the game. 

Later in the match, captain Mbappe suffered a broken nose and was forced to be removed which could lead to concerns for the European giants.
