Gross footage captured the disgusting moment pigeons helped themselves to ingredients laid out ready to put on a pizza inside a popular venue.
Three birds were caught feasting on shredded cheese kept at a counter at Crust in Neutral Bay, on Sydney’s lower north shore.
A passer-by filmed the nauseating incident with no staff seen keeping an eye on the front of the shop.
The video, uploaded to TikTok, has attracted nearly 3,000 views.
Social media users were disgusted by the site of the pigeons enjoying their lunch in ingredients prepared to serve up to people.
‘Never eating crust pizza again,’ one person commented.
‘Thats my last crust order, ever!’ another said.

There were a number who expressed amusement at the sight.
‘Crust pizza … pigeon approved!’ wrote one TikTok user adding a laughing emoji.
‘They’re just spicing up for the crust hot wings,’ another said unsettlingly.
‘Love that third pigeon…. he’s like “is this happening?”,’ another commented.
Daily Mail Australia contacted Crust for comment.
Crust is the third biggest pizza chain in Australia with 136 outlets, which operate as individually owned franchises.
