Disney accused of making Hillary robot look like Trump

Donald Trump’s animatronic addition to Disney’s Hall of Presidents was unveiled on Tuesday, leading many people to wonder if the artist behind the figure had a different president in mind when they started the design.

Disney has been accused of starting the construction before the 2016 election and quickly revamping it after Hillary Clinton’s crushing defeat.

People on social media have pointed out how the robot looks far more like the election loser than the winner, and many pondered if Disney started building the animatronic figure early because most pollsters had Hillary winning.

‘Here (sic) me out on this. Clearly Disney had Hilary’s (sic) robot ready to go and then had to try to make it look like Trump,’ Shannon O’Neill wrote on Twitter.

‘Don’t hate me. This is just a necessary and painful fact we all need to deal with.’

‘The more I see of Disney’s ‘Hall of Presidents’ Trump, the more I’m convinced they made a Hillary one first and had to redo it,’ another user wrote.

‘Disney was so sure Hillary would win they just made a Hillary robot for their hall of presidents and when Trump won they just put a trump skin over it and it looks like something straight from hell,’ another joked.

And media outlets across the political aisle have wondered the same thing – with both left-leaning NPR and far right InfoWars pointing out the striking difference between Trump’s face and his Disney sculpture.

A writer for Jones conspiracy theory-laden Radio Show even wondered if the engineer simply put a Trump wig on the Hillary robot.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Disney for comment, but has not heard back yet.

Some people have also pointed out the similarities between the robot’s face and Ray Donovan actor Jon Voight. And others pointed out the animatronic figure’s likeness to the Chucky Doll.

The Hall of Presidents has been a significant fixture at the Magic Kingdom since 1971 where visitors enter the theater inside a building that resembles Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

Around the time of Trump’s inauguration a Change.org petition was created with people protesting against the businessman being in the Hall of Presidents.

The petition, which drew support from more than 15,000 people falling just short of its goal of 25,000, demanded that Disney not allow of Trump to speak due to his ‘degrading, insulting and demeaning’ comments, the New York Times reported.
